-local events ( prime targets for pre-productions)
-write roles that take advantage of the skills and strengths of the actors
-avoid writing ext, night scene, hard to film at night without lighting
-avoid writing CGI ( special effects) scene, costs a lot of money and takes time
-selective camera use
-bulk meals to feed crew
-use magic hour and sunset
-more you do yourself fate cheaper
-do not use copyrighted music
-a lot of planning, resourcefulness and self education
-conserve money anyway you can
-watch as many low-budget films to learn from them
-learn skills such as editing, cost a lot less money
